Visit to school in Kagoshima, Japan.  First time I was on Japanese TV.

My recent Macbook is the first computer I didn't build or modify myself.  I've experienced many archaic computer systems, probably just about any Unix system in current production and several that are not.  I tend to end up writing "vi" when other people write "emacs", just because it's always there.

I have preferences, but will generally choose tools and computer languages based on the problem and not the other way around.  This has exposed me to some 30 or so programming languages, and still counting.

Have no space suit, but will travel.

Enjoys obscure references.

Likes champagne and Belgian chocolate.

That's it I think.
